Filmforum Bottrop


The Filmforum is located in the basement of Bottrop's adult education center (Volkshochschule), a historic building in the nothern town centre. The theatre can accommodate up to 80 guests and is fully accessible by wheelchair.

 

Getting to the Filmforum

By public transportation

The Filmforum can be reached by foot in about 8 minutes via the main bus terminal ZOB / Berliner Platz, which is served by bus lines 186, 260, 261, 262, 263, 264, 265, 266, 267, 268, 260, 979, SB16, SB29 and SB91 as well as the night bus lines NE16 and NE21.

Guest arriving at the main train station (Bottrop Hauptbahnhof) can reach the Berliner Platz within a few minutes by taking bus lines 186 (in the direction of ZOB Bottrop), 261 (in the direction of Bottrop Eigen Markt), SB16 (in the direction of ZOB Dorsten / Moviepark) or SB29 (in the direction of ZOB Bottrop)

By car

The following public parking spaces are in close vicinity of the Filmforum:  car parks P10 (Am Kulturzentrum) and P14 (Hof Kulturzentrum) as well as a larger parking garage at Böckenhoffstr. 10.
